Leveraging modern User Experience (UX) and User-Centred Design (UCD) principles, the DataArt team created a digital solution that best suits HexagonFab requirements and addresses their clients’ needs. We delivered an operational and attractive software application improving the speed of biomolecular interaction analysis to give the company a high-level competitive advantage, demonstrating the power of data science in biotechnology in enhancing research workflows.
The solution offers HexagonFab customers access to intuitive and quick device management and the ability to set up and manage experiment configuration, conduct and control experiments, review experiments history, perform initial generated data analysis, and export experiment details and outcome data. These features underscore the importance of data analytics in biotechnology for improving research precision and outcomes.

Key Features
Offline and fully touchscreen manageable application:
- The device is built on portable hardware with reasonable distribution costs. It doesn’t have any network requirements, showcasing the practical applications of data science in biotechnology in creating accessible tools.
Animation of the experiment:
- This feature integrates data analytics in biotechnology for enhanced visualization and understanding, animating the whole measurement with a plate view so that it’s easier for a researcher to control the analysis.
Charts management and modification:
- Charts modification and actions with them are a core feature of the solution. The user can cut, crop, maximize, shift, and do any transformations to the charts, including mathematical modeling. These capabilities illustrate how data analytics in biotechnology supports researchers in refining and interpreting experimental results effectively.
